Benelli R1 Argo E Pro. 30.06

I had one in 300 win mag, the recoil was a mild .270. I wish I didn't have to sell it but my daughter was just born back then and we needed the money (she is 15 now). It was best rifle in my safe. Fantastic accuracy, also the easiest to clean semi I've ever had. Maybe someday I'll find another one.

Thanks for this video! I’m new to hunting and I just bought a Benelin R1 chambered in .308 I’m currently trying to get some practice at a gun range to familiarize myself with my rifle and scope. How would you suggest I proceed getting into the hunting community? I live in Boston, MA. What scope would you recommend that’s under $600? Also, what tripod is that you’re using? I really want to get into hunting but I have no idea how to start besides watching tons of KZbin videos. Will gun ranges help me get into hunting?

yes 30.06, mag come standard 4 rounds, however I there 5 round mags for 30.06 as far as I know.

its most good for this gun and distance, 1 x 6 x 24 FFP 30mm tube, with QR rings.

Not at all, no problem. Only don't oil it too much, slightly.

Compro tutte le riviste che escono ogni mese,in fatto di armi penso di non essere ultimo arrivato,le compro tutte perché mi piace leggere le opinioni di vari tester,ma siccome non vado a caccia, sento le opinioni di chi le usa,e non ne sono contenti, proprio per questo ne voglio comprare una , magari il primo modello per verificare la cosa,ci sono tre carabine che mi piacciono: Argo,verney-carron e 7400 che ho comprato perché anche lei sotto accusa di inceppamenti, che garantisco non è vero,se ti ho offeso mi scuso ,ma in giro ho sentito molti che non ne sono contenti

Doesn’t it possibly to lift off the tripod more up?🙆🏻 And recoil is very visible. The issue is shorter barrel for 30.06. Let’s show us his target shootings from free hand and also the result what’s done.

This is European dogging hunt gun, designed to be short carbine. Tripod is low because target is elevated down on 250 meters, it most comfortable position for me at that time. 30.06 recoil is serious, however its dumped by recoil pad ARGO system so its comfortable to shoot.

Bene bene,la prossima carabina che comprerò sarà una Benelli argo, perché vorrei vedere se,gli inceppamenti sono dovuti alla meccanica, oppure alle cartucce, e siccome ricarico posso sbizzarrirmi con la tipologia di palle,io sono un po' come san Tommaso,il sentito dire non mi interessa, voglio vedere di persona

Tutti quelli che hanno questa carabina lamentano che si inceppa spesso,le altre vengono pulite a fine stagione, la Benelli va pulita ogni volta che si usa

He's bringing eyes up off the scope to see his target, making it look worse than it is. The r1 is about the lowest recoil 30.06 around.

​@@EdensRemorse indeed, the one I had in 300 win mag felt like a mild .270. My friends 30.06 bolt action Ruger kicked harder and don't even get me started about his ultralight 7mm. The Benelli R1 is a great rifle. 🙂

target 11x10 still plate gong. Distance 250 meters, Groping, Not sure, different ammo shows different grouping. All rounds in the gong this time. Most good grouping was Sako ammo 160 gr rounds, 150 meters 1/2 inch. 4 holes.

Voglio credere a quel signore che mi ha scritto che non è assolutamente vero che la carabina va pulita ogni volta che si usa,tutti quelli che hanno la Benelli argo lamentano che si inceppa,io ne voglio comprare una,ho comprato una 7400, che dicevano lo stesso, posso dire che non è vero, adesso tocca alla Benelli argo, anche se non vado a caccia sono appassionato di armi, e di ricarica, intanto auguri di buon anno a tutti voi
