Benelli Rafaello Accademia Shotgun - FIRST LOOK REVIEW 2019

Here is a first look at a Benelli Rafaello Accademia in the flesh, in a UK gun shop.
Brand New for 2019, Benelli have produced yet another stunning limited edition semi automatic shotgun. As with all the Benelli Rafaello this gun works fantastically well.

This Benelli shotgun is just as beautiful as their Benelli Rafaello 50th anniversary semi automatic shotgun.
We like to keep our shotgun reviews off the cuff and unedited.

Most of these new shotguns for 2019 could be viewed at the IWA 2019 show, but here is our first opening of the box of a production Benelli Shotgun delivered to a gun shop.

I think there are two versions of the Benelli Raffaello Accademia, one for the US market (Ethos platform) and one for Euro market (Raffaello platform). US has two ducks engraved above the trigger on the right side, Euro has only one duck engraved above the trigger on the right. And the Euro seems to be limited to 1000 units. (US market is limited, but they don't say to how many). MRRP in US is $2 999.00 (but the sell for a few hundred less than that usually). MRRP in Euro is 3 667.00 € and they sell for 3 or 4 hundred Euros less than that (so in Europe you can buy the Accedemia for 3 299.00 € which is £2 943.00). I've noticed that in the UK the MRRP for these high-end guns is about £400 to £600 cheaper than Europe. Lucky you.
