Benelli TRK Portugal - 4th Group Ride - Oleiros Portugal

Every year in Setember / October is held the Anual Benelli TRK group ride. This time it was in the center region of Portugal near the town of Oleiros, in Castelo Branco district of Portugal, land of lush forests, valleys and mountains.

Thanks for the beautiful summer pictures. Great to feel the warmth. The orange-golden autumn tint of German forests is nearing its end today, must take the Transalp out for a short ride before it rains and gets colder. The Tuono V4 got a bit of a beating this weekend, until a hit a nail with the nearly brand-new rear tyre. Managed to limp home in the dark for about 15 km and got to replace the 190/55-17 now. The nail hit the worst possible corner, no chance to fix it properly. All trhe best from Nürnberg/Germany, Günter

Thank you for you nice comment Günter! :) Oh thoseeee flat tires! Rare but when they happen they seem to be in the worst possible moment haha :P I wish i had tubeless tires on the TRK tho, its much easier to fixe :) Take care and ride safe ! Cheers!

@@WolfMates Depends where the nail sticks through. My new Bridgestone S21 190/55-17 was hit in the worst corner, so it had to be replaced. 160 Euros gone through the drain. At least I could ride for 10 miles thanks to its stiff radial carcass, whereas a diagonal tyre with a tube type (Transalp, Beta Alp) would have been useless after 50 meters. Cheers, Günter

Sabes eu quando me apaixonei pela TRK foi 1º pela cinza lol :) Não comprei logo, entretanto apaixonei-me pela branca! Depois de ter a branca olho para as vermelhas e fico a babar-me! E agora saiu uma azul escura que é LINDA! Já viste a minha vida? hahaha :P Grande abraço!

Eu não sei se fazia parte do trajecto planeado. Sei que não conseguimos cumpri-lo porque o dia escureceu num instante :P É uma zona espectacular e a minha loba tem família ali no Sipote e quando lá vou fico sempre a babar-me com os vales cheios de árvores! E gostamos bastante da praia fluvial do malhadal :) Abraço e boas curvas!
