Hi, am buying a 21.7 without motor, what size is your and are you happy? I will motoring a bit so should I go for a 8hp or 9.9. Thanks

Hi @markalfresco, we've been in touch with a 21.7 owner and they said they run a 6Hp 4 stroke engine which pushes her along quite nicely (6 knots in calm water). They said they previously had a 10Hp which was a lot of weight on the stern without much benefit in speed. Depending on brand you may need a long shaft engine. Happy Sailing!
