The First 27 offers a variety of uses, from club racing to offshore shorthanded to couples cruising. This boat is very well optioned with electronics, refrigerator, sails, and cushions package. The sail package includes a Code 0 as well as assymetrical spinnaker. This is the standard version of the First 27. Many know of the Beneteau Sea Scape Edition, which if far more race-oriented. The SE has a swing keel and outboard engine. I prefer this model with a reliable inboard Yanmar diesel and fixed keel.
