Agreed. It never fails to amaze and annoy me some yacht builders continue to produce multi-megabuck boats with crew quarters the size of a guest head. Benetti has always been a class act. The crew accommodations of their yachts reflect their customers' appreciation for those they employ.

I certainly was not expecting that. The design is incredible, almost 400GT for a vessel of its size, AWOL is also a 37 meter at a little over 300GT. The design looks incredible, would love to have a tour once it’s built. Would be interesting to see how they dealt with stability changes from adding the extra deck. David, great video, most certainly one of my favourites of yours. Job well done. 👍😎

The volume in the yacht is what I loved, as well as all the light that should be flooding in from the huge windows! Can’t wait to see one built and on the water! The tender deck is awesome. The one thing I would have to put in would be a dive shop- let’s face it if you are going the explorer route, odds are you are a certified diver and would need an area on boat for all the needed gear- tank storage and compressor. Nice to see the nose has healed!

At the beginning when you said Benetti had found a way to squeeze in an extra deck, I thought you meant making it a tri-deck. Then, towards the end, I saw the "fourth" (main) deck and wondered if I had missed it all along! I'm not one for VR tours, but you really presented this one quite well. Tell Benetti we want to see you give us a tour of this boat again once it's complete _including_ the crew quarters! :)
@puffrooster4 жыл бұрын
There isn't an explorer yacht being built anywhere in the world that even comes close to this boat! First off, you have an entire deck dedicated to the crew, the master suite isn't located on the primary deck in front of the galley and dining area like it is on pretty much every other explorer yacht there is; instead you have a full guest deck, bow to stern with a view throughout! The veranda behind the most beautiful bridge I have ever seen is exquisite... and back to the uncluttered bridge, there is no cafeteria style booth located anywhere therein... it's perfect!

Excellent preview/review on an extraordinary vessel. This is what I’d be looking for, if I make the right cut on oncoming business (haha). No really, I love the decency and usability of this ship. Look like Benetti is again leading the way to my heart. Love the hybrid propulsion system believe everyone should be going in that direction. And no I'm NOT a Tree hugger, I just believe that the beauty of the sea the ocean the lakes the rivers should be absorbed by cruising them not speeding through them. Now if you can do it Efficiently and less costly that means you can afford to do more of it 🤷♂️. I'll get off the soapbox now awesome video David!

Being able to run one engine under way will save a lot of money over the life of the boat. This boat looks like something special. Crew accommodation looks good. Maybe some people could enjoy their vessel if the crew are unhappy, but it's better that everyone is happy. You can retain quality crew that way.
@murgel20063 жыл бұрын
The engineering is excellent. I do however perceive her as if she was a longer, more, ehm, elegant yacht once but ran into a cliff a few times too many. Personally, I really hope they will have this specific design team make something in the 45-60m range. The result could be stunning. The crew accommodations really need special applause. As a former military man, I know that the smallest comfort can make life so much better for the crew.

saying well done david is and understatement.. a very well done incredible presentation of an amzing yacht i would like to see more of course and am very intreged by the boat deck and how well hidden it is .. so many other yachts that have a boat deck put it right in front of where one would walk in to the main saloon which is like having a 30 million dollar manor home and using the the servents entrance .. it just doesnt make sense... to me.. this yacht has you and gueast walk up above all that which makes more sense as long as its not too long of a walk .. i will admit the steps off the transom seem rather steep or at least more so than others i have seen....i am glad to hear the crew quarters are laid out in high style like the rest of the yacht... happy crew happiier clients... please keep up the updates

Im very impressed with the crew spaces. I think if the guests have 5 to 7 star luxury, the crew should have 4 to 5 star accommodation. They live there. Id definitely enjoy my job more, knowing my cabin was a home away from home. I know the mega gigi yachts do, but a 37m yacht quad deck is astounding. What an extremely clever use of space and volume. This is a game changing explorer yacht design. Only downside as a disabled veteran is id love a lift. But she's probably at max design for the features already added etc.

Great promo film as always. You brought the layout nicely to life. I like that they made a decent crew deck away from the clients, where the people who really live there can also have some life and society of their own. Benetti sure found ways to rack & stack the features all over with minimum of wasted space. I would really enjoy these promos more if you could give us more performance statistics, especially on an explorer like this -- I think the range, consumables capacity, cruising speeds at various configurations, depth requirements, maneuverability, ice- or storm-rating, and so on would be of at least as much interest as the layout of the sunbeds and dining tables. [Who even sunbathes anymore? How much cancer are we trying to get, anyway? A lot of these yachts have more space dedicated to death-by-radiation than anything else.] Can it northwest passage? Will it survive the south cape storms? Cross the Pacific with only the Hawaii layover? Sure, it looks comfy enough to languish around the Med with the indolent tourists, but where does it fit on the adventure scale? Of course, what aggravates everyone all the time about these shipyards, is "Why the F@&*%# can't you at least give us an estimate on the price?! Don't give us that 'If you have to ask you can't afford it' bullshit. It's a product. It has a price. Are you giving them away, or are you selling them? If I'm really rich enough, I can afford a bloody aircraft carrier or a nuclear-powered submarine, so how much do you want for what you're bringing to market? Just give us a ballpark figure, okay? You don't like unqualified inquiries, how 'bout you tell us the qualifications." Sorry, had to be said eventually. I'll take the heat for bitchin' about it first.

These are especially important points in the Explorer Yachts which are not meant to be sitting and showing off in the doc. Unless this is actually meant to do that? Just compare to FPBs for example and how Dashew's explain the pacific crossing capabilities etc...
