I wouldn't be surprised if the Ehlinger pick by the Colts is somewhat related to their QB archetypes. Eason was drafted as a project with Rivers under center, being a similar pocket passer with a cannon. Ehlinger is more towards the Wentz mold: a strong arm as well, but combined with an insane mobility.

Wildgoose ( a 1st round grade for name) apparently had issues with penalties in college . if he does make the team , I expect him to be put in scenario where he can either avoid causing penalties often (zone converge more often rather than man-to-man?) or be forced to learn to be more disciplined aka "less wild" lol . This has be un-initial but he is currently wearing OJ's #32 ; he did not have good performance against the Lions in the 1st pre-season game, I don't recall seeing or hearing his name yesterday vs the Bears.

The draft is fine - a lot of people didn’t like it because of things like Jaycee Horn in the first round... unless they have something planned or really trust Sam Darnold, not taking a QB was a potentially a bit of a miss despite their need at corner - but Hey we will see what happens - Darnold could suddenly turn it around.

Dolphins fan here, im personally looking forward to the gerrid doaks pick, let me explain. The dolphins current rb situation consists of myles gaskin a 7th round pick, a back who was on pace to rush for over 900 yards last season before missing six games due to injury, and salvon ahmed a udfa who shows a lot of potential; (two steals imo) only issue is they are on the smaller side and we NEED a solid heavy powerback for thrid down and goal line. However brian flores and chris grier do not want to invest heavily into a guy like that, so have made many "cheap" pickups in hopes one of them hit. I.E Jordan Howard, Deandre Washington, Jordan Scarlett, Malcolm Brown, and now Gerrid Doaks, the last two being the most recent pick ups. Low risk low reward for a player that isnt of a major need. With the additions of Will fuller V, and Jaylen Waddle as well as the return of Albert Wilson not only has the receiving core been bumped up a lot, but the deep threat of dolphins receivers opens up the field allowing for more success in the running game. A O-Line that had three rookies starting and two players who were playing their first season with the team in a year unlike any other. The line has been improved in its own way. Liam eichenburg is a very skilled player, as well as the previously mentioned three rookies being more developed as players and a o-line core as a whole. Im very excited to see what the team has to offer as a whole, but i will say the running game is what im most looking forward to

If Freiermuth becomes the next Heath Miller, who hes been compared to, he looks like a steal in the 2nd round. With McDonald retiring and Ebron not being able to block at all makes this pick make more sense. Also Najee and Freiermuth makes whatever qb who come in after Ben retires a really easy transition into the NFL with all the weapons they will have.

Can’t understand how you got Kylin Hill as the worst pick for the Packers. No team can survive with only two running backs, and it’s not like they used any significant capital on him. He was a solid kick returner and special teams guy which for a 7th round pick you’d easily take. I think maybe Isaiah McDuffie was the odd man out here, but I understand you don’t specifically cover the Packers so I guess I understand how you just look at it from a way outside view.
