Yeah the issue isn’t that should Lamar win MVP this year or that he’s a good qb or even a great qb (though his playoff wins are suspect) it’s that in the past Lamar Jackson was giving credit for his qb play, instead of showing a laser throw between two defenders with the pocket collapsing for a first down they use to show (in the same game mind you) a loopy 50 yard jump ball that you could see on any high school field on a Friday night. The fact is his MVP last year was not really an MVP season and they made their excuses to give it to him.
