It was his own life and mental health and no amount of moral policing on child would be adequate here, cuz if that was the case his wife shouldn't have taken the child along with her. Secondly, it was mother's (Atul's wife) responsibility too, to make sure the child needs parental support and figured out way to keep the balance. In that case the mother of the child I again more responsible for torturing the father of the child and putting the child more away from father's care and love. As far as information is available, the girl is a graduate engineer working with Accenture. Now we cannot assume that she never consented for having child. As you said about Atul, I ask the same for mother. She earns, she should have taken care. While with her own money (salary) she was busy taking revenge. I understand that there's a lot to unfold in this case. I have heard 1.5 hours of Atul's video and also acknowledge the patriarchal statement of controlling behaviour towards women. That still doesn't give anyone any right to torture him to take his own life.

If he choose to not pay for that Alimony/Settlement amount, he would have gone to Jail. So many cases like these are happening everyday. In my office that day my colleagues opened up a video of “5 women who raped a man and threw him na***k on road”….my colleagues were laughing saying “Bhai ye kaisa chu*** h, 5 ladki ne milke pe**la and ye khud ko victimise kar rha h. Iska jagah mai hota to maza aa jata.” Though I took a stand their but it was 2 against 1. Abb aisa society me kaha se change aega….mera yahi manna h ki ldkio ko rights aise hi ni mila, they fought for it. Similarly guys will also need to take a stand as whole community.
