For almost 50 years, Virginia Attorney Ben Glass has been a soccer referee. He has refereed over 2000 games and is the author of "You, a Teenage Soccer Referee" (which is about the mindset of how to get a young person through the difficult and often overwhelming task of refereeing.)
In this video, he talks about his experience as a referee and how teenage athletes are highly respectful and hardworking. He also shares how to handle a coach who is screaming at you and how to give the "on fire brain" the power it needs.
