Ben, as someone who's been surfing for 57 years now, I think your great contribution is celebrating the joy of surfing even the tiniest, crappiest conditions. All of the focus has been on big and perfect, which leaves people jaded and whiny when conditions are "just" fun and average. I have so many friends who have been ruined from traveling. I love all conditions. And I love riding any board ... even if it were a front door. I live right at the beach in northern Oregon, and when I look at junky surf, I always tell myself, "Gravy would go!" And then I get my ass out there and have a great time.

I think its the relatable aspect to it and your back stories, I like the fact that Jordan's a big part of it too and some of your mates who are just regular blokes are such a laugh too.
