Was there in early June for the previous eruption Ben. Took a helicopter ride over it and was awesome!!!!! I know the place shown for this vid was Vik.....and sadly, it was flat when i was there, but saw the potential there and many, many other places.. I did the ring road for 10 days in a van and soooo many bays/points look like that right in the other video. I saw some real slabs(some lefts as well) way up North on my van trip and the roads getting there were quite dicey(White out conditions). Oh..............and those hot dogs are actually damn good aren't they. FYI, The volcano appears low because it was a fissure eruption and not a classic cone shape although it's building into a scatter cone. Did you see the volcano at night, you can see it a ton better and there are some side roads that would get you a bit closer before they block them off.
