Hi Ben, I really appreciate a lot about your video. You give clear directions, stay focused (with the exception of the rainbow pic part😆), and make it easy to learn how to do what you are teaching. there is one thing about this video, in particular, that is sooooo much better than 90% of the tutorial videos out there. !/2 of the videos have the person who is traiing taking up half the screen as if that is what the tutorial is about; them. 2/6 shows their monitor from a distance, so it's incredibly difficult to even see what they are doing. The final 1/6 who do a monitor-only view also include their search bar, favorites, folders at the bottom, etc, crap we don't care about. You provided a big view of the task we are actually working on. Nice work!

Hey Ben, thanks for the video! I wanted to ask you something specific about instagram ads: If you want to create a campaign to gain followers, what would you do? You can create instagram engagement ads in ads manager, but there is no "follow me" cta button, as in page likes. In app however, you can create a simple instagram campaign that has the look profile cta and helps with gaining followers. What say you? Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh I see - I don't think the CTA button itself is going to make a huge difference. I think Learn More works most of the time. That's not going to be as big a needle mover as the ad itself :)

Awesome - happy to help :) That's not actually uncommon. Solution is to use daily budgets and keep the campaign running. That provides more consistency.

Hi Paula, it sounds like you have the new campaign objective menu. The conversion functionality is still there but labelled differently. If you want sales then you can select that - otherwise you can select leads. I'll have videos on this soon when it is rolled out to more accounts.

I tried and combining these two ads under one campaign to find that the promotional ad got very little impressions and the informative ad gets all the impressions. Thanks Daniel. That depends where you want your leads to be generated. If you want them to be generated via your website then you want to go with conversions and optimise for the lead event. If you are happy to leads to be generated within Facebook or Instagram via a lead form, then you want to select Lead Generation. The main difference is quality. Good question. I wouldn't focus exclusively on Instagram to begin with. I'd use automatic placements (if you are using the conversions objective) and allow Facebook to select the best placements so you get the best results. I imagine that means you are going to see more impressions on Instagram but I see little advantage in focusing exclusively.

Hint: sunglasses is a diffcult and very saturated niche. In my opinion, graphic ads wont make it that far, maybe as retargeting but not initially. I could be wrong tho. People usually dont want ads that look like ads. Take some inspo from ig and tiktok influencers and see how they market this type of stuff?

I don't really believe in the pocket theory (you may the previous video confused with someone else) and partly because of that, but also for other reasons, I really don't think you should duplicate ad sets to scale. Awesome :) Yes that's correct. Unfortunately there are no work arounds with this one. You will have to go with broad targeting and give Facebook enough time to work out who to target. I'd write copy and produce creative that will resonate with your target market and is very niche specific - that should help as Facebook can pick up on the engagement signals.

I got to this point of following this tutorial thanks to your other one. But MY GOD what a sh-t show FB has created w/ ads manager vs business suite vs creator studio. It blows my mind that a billion dollar company features one of the most frustrating UI experiences I've come across since the Amazon seller dashboard /rant
