Just fantastic !!!!! Your mastery of the shamisen tsugaru is truly amazing. I knew of the sound of the shamisen from earlier times, but it wasn't until I first watched Wagakki Band's video Homura + Akatsuki No Ito from your 2015 tour that I fully grasped how well the sound of the shamisen goes with modern instruments in contemporary type music. I've seen you do more with three strings than some guitarists try to do with six strings. To use a more modern term, you shred like a rockstar. But when I have heard you perform in a more traditional sense, the beauty of the shamisen shines through. Songs like Sabaku No Komoriuta, Izana, Strong Fate, Hana Ichi Monme and Ami Noche Konjouron have a sense of grace and beauty that is lacking in contemporary Western music. Hopefully I will be able to see you perform when Wagakki Band does another US tour, or if it's possible, to make a trip to Japan to see one of Wagakki Band's performances in your home country. Also, please convey my best wishes to Yuko and Kiyoshi on the birth of their daughter. Arigato.
