BENIDORM Breakfast - Did the COACH & HORSES live up to its new GASTROBAR image?

There’s one thing Benidorm is not short of … places to have breakfast, and we like to try out different restaurants so we can tell you which ones we think are the best.
For our first full day in Benidorm we chose to visit a recently-refurbished bar restaurant that is only two doors away from where we were staying, which was just as well because we were both feeling a little overwhelmed from the night before.
The bar restaurant in question was known as The Coach & Horses for years, but it has been renamed Fresh Urban Gastrobar after a trendy revamp. But did the breakfast live up to its new ultra-modern image? You know what to do, watch the video and find out whether our first Benidorm breakfast was a tasty treat or a dire disaster.

Hello , loved it when it was Coach and Horses, feels like its lost its warm friendly character now. If having brekkie down that end always have 3 favs , Refuel , Vincent's or Sherrys. Cheers for the videos guys 🤩

Does the Fresh Gastro Pub take up the whole site now? I remember 2 other smaller bars next door. I think one was The Jarrow lad bar? Looking forward to visiting Benidorm at the end of the month.

It does Derek, Coach and Horses is combined with the Gastro Pub, and sadly Jarrow Lad is no more, which was always one of our go to places. It was a lovely Breakfast with great staff. We hope you have a lovely time, we've heard the long term forecast is great and looks like you will have missed the showers ☀️

@@thechatterguys We’ll be over at the end of April and we’re staying in the Atlantida Apartments. The Jarrow did do a great breakfast. Just watching your night out watching the tribute acts. Looked a fantastic night and you really enjoyed yourselves. I think 2024 is going to be a phenomenal year for Benidorm. Can’t wait. Thanks for replying and take care.

Hello hello I take strawberry jam with me for breakfast with bread and butter that’s locally bought in the resort Brian takes Yorkshire gold tea bags we usually go for menu del daya I think that’s how you say it it was general Franco that brought that in 3 courses for a set price with a drink not all the restaurants show this in Spain it’s usually a lunch thing if I remember correctly enjoy your time in Benidorm greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

@@thechatterguys that’s what the history books say we got a nice menu del dia in Benidorm just behind mercadona a few years ago I remember I got fish with bones in it and it took me ages to eat it what time to you usually go live at and I will try and see your whole half hour slot thanks guys greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

I really like this place, the food is generally good, the staff are very friendly and efficient, I’ve eaten there many times , and never had a problem. Really nice location , not far from the OT centre, which I like . 😂

Tim did you not complain about your breakfast...the yogurt could have made you sick.....btw its not a good idea to have dairy on a hot day..milk or yogurt it can make you sick enjoyed the video guys

2 men came to fit a security system at our house..a young lad and a older male..it was a stinking hot day I asked them if they wanted a drink the older one said yes pls water the younger wanted a cup of tea....the young one was on the roof and was suddenly very sick..and played holy hell with me saying I had poisoned him!!...the older guy said it was the milk in the tea had curdled in his stomach..thats why he just had water....

The tast I don't no how was it but the price compare to Switzerland very very cheap Thats why when I return from benidorm to Switzerland I gain minimum 6 to 7 kg 😂😂😂😂😂

The yoghurt looked dismal and very poorly presented, you normally get much better in Spain
