The old town is lovely more traditional but for a much quieter picturesque place I would recommend Altea which is just a little further on than Benidorm 😊

I saw the original Sticky V back in 1977 so I imagine the current incarnation is possibly her Grand Daughter. Saw the latest SV about 2yrs ago, how she doesn't get cut to ribbons is still a mystery 😊. Will be back in Benidorm in early Feb for 3 weeks. Hopefully it wont be too busy & the weather will be pleasant [mid 60s], fingers x.

That hotel you stayed in (Gemelos 28), is pretty controversial. They were ordered to demolish it as it's been built 6 metres too close to the protected coastline. Been going back and forth in the courts for years. Latest decision was that it wasn't in the public interest to demolish as it would cost €130m to rebuild 6 metres further back. I think the saga is still ongoing though.

Hi, there was No filming Inside Pelicanos Hotel only the Pool area :-) The interior shots were taken Inside a place called The Pink House, up Rincon way. Morgan Tavern was chosen as it's closed during the Day, and yes it's Huuuuge. Great Video xxx

Only started going in 2017 but been 6 times now. Really good hotel attached to that white star pub, called Marina! Love it. Heading back July next year with the other half just before we get married in Vegas. Western bar is a firm favourite!

You were very lucky the police didn't see you when you were both on scooter.as it says on the contract you sign when they deliver it.that only the person that hired it and no kids allowed.but when I've been there I've seen a few not following the rules.i always hire 1 as I'm riddled in arthritis and use crutches or when I'm there 2 walking sticks.just walking around the hotel 4 meals leaves me in agony.
