Hmmm i have an airgun setup shooting a 310gr arrow with a 100gr tip @700+ im curious as to how it would fair with that massive 600gr on there

The Benjamin Airbow shot the 600 gr for a total 875 gr weight from 30 yards and destroyed a cinder block in my Airbow playlist. That's serious kenetic energy on impact. Hope this helps. Thanks.

I think the most surprising part is that the arrow itself was still usable. Were you using aluminum or carbon?

Robin Paydon Carbon always!!

I was looking at the airbow but went with a Matrix 380 instead...I love the matrix but if I had to do it over again I'm not sure I'd make the same choice

They can both get the job done but for fertilizer hit the ventilator situation The Matrix 380 will be much more dependable. Easy to maintain but if the airbow at 3000 psi ever has a problem I have no clue how to fix it 😂

MINDLIKETHEMILLPOND that was my thinking exactly and that was reason I bought it. I changed out the stirrup for the DRstirrup which made it much easier to draw back for a short dude like me and also gives me the ability to drawit back while sitting down or laying down. If you need to take a follow up shot and don't want to expose yourself it's perfect. I got a couple 150 grain single bevels from VPA and they are amazing I can't imagine the damage a 600 grain broadhead would do

@@MINDLIKETHEMILLPOND The air bow is basically like a PCP air plinker internally, I Think if anything were to break it would be a leaky o ring seal, thats easily fixed or the spigot could break. But i dont think thats likely. Nice video, thanks

Well the most important reason for the crossbow (like an Excalibur since the string can be replaced without a bow press) is that it would be the choice for a WTSHTF survival weapon. But otherwise the Benjamin Air Bow would be the choice for shear fun and ease of use (when it is fully charged).

shoot a solid cement paver and not a cinder black and you will impress me, cinderwall block has smaller sections that are hollow, if you can put it though a solid three inches of cement and not horse up your arrow and broadhead you will have my praise.

That's why God made Barrett 50 Cal armor piercing and Browning made M-2😁 ( Right tool to accomplish the mission) I am just sharing and at 57 I only aim to impress myself . Sharing is for entertainment of the curious only. God bless and have a great day 😉

I have done the same thing roughly, but with a solid 100 year old brick and a 325 broadhead and a wicked ridge invader, it did about what the six hundred did to that cinder block, the thing is the vpa 325 was only made for a handful of months before it was slightly shortened due to tip curling during head treat, and then 300 but was not a big seller so it was discontinued, the thing is a cinder block its easy to break though the hollows but people still shoot though them and think it will impress me, it dont so much, not like solid brick, steel, or cement.

I see, said the blind man😂 It makes more sense to me now. Happy shooting, later Crossbow Brother 😁
