I had to send it to Benjamin to fix the seals. It shoots very accurately. The only thing is, those last few pumps (6,7,8) are tougher and tougher to pull down. I can do it fine, but others (like my huntin buddies) dont use the right technique (butt stock in crotch, pump out & away, then back in to your body) so they struggle until they learn. Its an accurate rifle though. Ive dialed it in on some water turkeys out to 100 yards. Bad ass to make air rifle kills out that far. I subbed your channel. Plz subb me back. Thanks!

I had one in the 60s. It was accurate. What made it great as a beginner looking down the sites, you could see the path of the pellet as it traveled. Enjoyed the heck out of it except for he pumping. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you liked the video. Im really happy to have it. Yeah, you're right the pumping is rough lol. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the video..... Love to have one .. but difficult to find the hard wood stocks.. Seems they don't make them anymore now, and only synthetics are seen in most of the sites..

Thanks for watching & for the comment. Yeah, rhe wood stock has been discontinued. I paid twice as much as I should've for this one but did so bc you cant find them & bc this one was new old stock. It hits hard, shoots accurately & is overall a badass air rifle. Only thing about it is, its hard to pump. Not a rifle for a kid or a woman.

Clean the paint overspray out the tip of the barral it will help with flyers I used a que tip with paint stripper thinned with astone . Just make sure that the gun is pointing down so it dont go to far down the gun.this is a must if you want a good shooting gun.there is always gunk and overspray in the pump tube .lift the pump arm use a micro towel to clean it . I use a chopstick to push it around. Have fun with the new gun.

Glen, I appreciate the tips & advice. Ill do my best to follow your suggestions. Ibwould like nothing more that a tack driving, hard hitting new old rifle. Thus far, Ive noticed a big difference in the impact on a 4 pump vs 8 pump (max). Obviously 4 pumps is less power, but at 20 yards I was surprised to see how much variance there was. Im shooting a 21.14 grain pellet. I thought maybe I should switch it to a lighter one. Thanks again for the tips. Please keep them coming!

You want to see how much power it has . Fill pop cans full with water hit them with a heavy pellet ,them cans will jump up a foot or more when you hit them square. The first time i did it i was stuned how much power even at 25 yards thats how i was away.

$499 - That is insane, they sold NIB for around $169 If anyone wants one, just keep an eye on Gunbroker and don't pay big money for one. They are neither rare nor high end air rifles. Or, if you really want to pay $500 for one, let me know. I have one NIB. I only paid $139 for it, but, would be willing to let it go for $500. :))

They dont make the wooden stock version any longer, they're hard to find.

@@CaptainBadChad It's true, they don't make the 392 with a wood stock any longer. It is not true, that they are hard to find. There are millions of them out there. They* are on Gunbroker and ebay all the time. At any relatively large gun show, you're almost certain to find a few. I would not pay more than $150 for one in very good condition. *Benjamin 312, 342 and 392 - basically the same rifle. Or, another option in a good multi pump would be a Sheridan(Blue Streak, Silver Streak, C9)

@@danpaul2989 i guess something is worth what someone will give for it. Ive had $1000 worth of fun w it easily. Im sure there are better deals out there, but my deal was what it was. No buyers remorse on my purchase. Thanks for watching & commenting. Lil fact; i chose this gun bc ita smaller than most 22cal air rifles. I shoot iguanas from my jeep. The smaller overall length allow me to pump it up while seated. It is an exercise to pump 8 times though.
