Thanks again for a great song with the one and only legendary Benjamin doing lead vocal. Damn, I wish he could have done lead on every song the Cars did! Love that voice! Love his looks...OMG!
I just love this song😜🤪🤘🤘it’s so much fun to listening🎸🎸🙏🙏

Loved Cap n Swing. They had so much grit to them. Cars were good but didn't compare to this raw talent. Best served live.

A couple of thoughts: Not crazy about this song, but it is Benjamin singing it, after all, soooo....; and while we may not be completely sure who "Cap'N Swing" is, I think we can be certain that Benjamin was Magic Pants, especially his leathers that he wore later in their career. Maybe calling his Corvette 'Magic' was inspired by this, too. (^_^)

This one gives me Frampton Comes Alive vibes, maybe reminds me a bit of Steve Winwood/Traffic "Empty Pages".

Better than half the songs on Panorama or Door to Door.

PANORAMA is my favorite CARS album, so I'm gonna say you are talking out your a$$. DOOR TO DOOR was also a good album. "Shake It Up" and "Heartbeat City" were the band's 'lesser' albums, in which Ocasek stupidly decided to replace David Robinson's awesome percussion with drum machines. Oh, and the Milkwood and Cap N Swing songs are kind of Dog Sh*t, actually. That's why Ocasek and Orr abandoned those songs.

@@keithkoenig5320Panorama is my favorite Cars album, followed closely by their first album, and Candy-O after that. Shake It Up still brought the goods. Heartbeat City imo was their last good 80s album, but was veering toward arena rock. Door To Door had a couple of good songs, but it's never been close to a favorite for me. Fine Line and Coming Up You were too commercial for Cars songs.

@@MisterMikeTexas Panorama was the last Cars New Wave album IMHO after that they got commercial . Except for Indigo and When you Come Back Down I couldn’t stand their Cap’n Swing stuff.

@@April-pw5ub Unfortunately I agree that after Panorama their sound was lost to the 80's hype. Wasn't a fan of that. Preferred their New Wave sound and the smaller venues where you could really connect with the band. Indigo and When you come back Down are very good, but I also liked Strawberry Moonlight. There were a few Cars songs that were in an evolutionary stage as well. I'm still discovering a lot of their older stuff. It's a fun ride.

@@animemanganet. Have you ever heard anything by Milkwood? That was an earlier group of theirs from the ‘70s Ric,Ben , and James Goodkind . It had a CSNY sound .
