Just a quick game (you'll see why!) but I decided to use this chance to experiment by inserting human & AI game review segments inline throughout the video (but not constantly). Please let me know how you feel about that! It will influence whether I do it in the future, obviously with games that actually get to 100+ moves (lol). QUESTION 1: How do you feel about this inline review format? QUESTION 2: Did you learn something from the live-commenting or review?

I really like this format. Makes it a lot easier for me to understand the reasoning behind your moves. For me it was also more interesting than just seeing the entire game and then going into review.

Cool! Thanks for letting me know :) Helpful!

It's actually my favorite format for live play + review. I can watch it bit by bit and get a cohesive multi layer thinking experience about positions and sequences.

Oh, good to know!

I found this video super informative and easy to follow. If there is any confusion to the in-line review segments it may be from the additional complicating factor of AI suggestions that you then have to interpret and try to explain. Maybe use the in-line review segments primarily to outline your own ideas and save AI analysis for after the game?

Ah, yep that's an idea. Thanks!

I was a little confused with going back and forth between game and review, but I like the idea and I could probably get used to it

Gotcha, that makes sense probably still jarring as well as not the clearest when we're in each mode, the main difference between real game mode and human review mode was only that human review mode the board alignment was jankier and I put "Human Review Mode" in the upper left, which might still be unnoticed sometimes. Thanks!

Wow! This was one of the coolest formats I've seen for enjoying a tough match while getting immediate insights from review!

Thanks for that! People seem pretty split on this but there are quite a few comments of people liking it so far, so at some point I'll try doing more and just make sure it's done better than this one. I'll make the transitions more clear and obvious and not jarring.

Would love to see a deep dive on ko from how to force a ko to, how to count evaluate and prioritize ko threats, how to lose a ko to get profit elsewhere, multi step ko, the benefits of taking the ko first, etc

Dedicated, in-depth ko video, got it, I'll add it to the list! Welcome to remind me at a later point if another Ko video hasn't come yet.

Hmm idk to be honest. This switching to reviews between action it is usefull but also confusing. I think i prefer review in the end of the game but its my own opinion :D

Gotcha, thanks for that! Well, that way is a lot less editing for me lol so I don't mind if people end up preferring normal, but we shall see if many people like this format or some variation of it. Kind of even split so far lol Of course I could always do both, for now this is just a one-time experiment and a chance to gather some feedback.

I like this format, but I’m not sure that I think it’s worth the editing burden. Content in general is appreciated!

Thanks for that! That's a really useful comment. I haven't spent a lot of time honing my editing skills tbh so it did actually take a while. Of course, if I decided to do more like this soon, I would go ahead and level up my editing skills a bit to make it feasible, but I also have no attachment to this format so it's just an experiment. TBH I'd rather not edit and just blast out videos quickly, but I'm interested in what you guys like and this kind of data can be used even years from now anyway. Little update on daily videos, in case you're wondering: In case you noticed the daily videos missing a day or two here and there for the last few days, I happened to be getting destroyed by some deadlines for other stuff so I had to focus down some stuff for a few days and neglect other things, but today forward I expect the upload consistency to be perfect :) I haven't been finding the daily video thing difficult and I've been having fun with it! Especially thanks to comments like yours, thank you~
