Epic makes billions of dollars from in-game sales. So long as micro-transactions remain the focal point of their revenue, they aren't going to go all out on banning every single player that *might* be cheating, because I'm sure that's *a lot* of people. Epic's annual revenue might also explain why they aren't too worried about cheaters getting a chunk of the tournament money. It's just a drop in the bucket.

Theres a reason the fncs competitors use the skins they do.

This cheating situation is so bad. I do this every tournament for the streamer I mod for. Once every so often I get a supsect apprehended screen, but mostly it doesn't happen, even when the cheater is being blatant and streaming the whole thing laughing in the face of everyone at Epic and greedily taking the earnings. At that point, Epic are beyond useless.

At the end, the cheat developer states that more flags/detection (specifically hardware spoofing) in the game launching process would better deter/block said hacker(s). Regular anti-cheat software focuses more on added files or background scripts, scanning at the root level of the user's PC. Indeed, if sustainable detection was developed to check and ensure a user's HWID (hardware ID) it would block and sustain bans of these cheaters. But then again -- anti-cheat developers can only go so far, and as a learning developer myself, this cat-and-mouse game is only growing in complexity.

Exactly that. Regular anti-cheat software like User Level Anti-Cheats can only go so far. I believe many game devs are now making kernel-level anti-cheat software to monitor any attempt of something trying to breach the Process' Access violations. It's hard to make undetectable internal hacks, but like the cheat developer said, it's got something to do with drives. I guess we can call it a civil war of Drives lol

Spoofing is when a hacker makes a way to trick Fortnite making their PC look like a different PC and connection. 3. Fortunately spoofers are applications that have to be running to work. 4. If Fortnite would make their anti cheat DETECT the software that these people are running on their PC they would no longer have any way to cheat. I found a lot teams of NPC like players. They are running arround some place, and only atack you when you get closer. Usually full team land in a corner of a map. I think it is a XP gain and v-dollars generator for items for other accounts

Usually when someone is playing, there is no way they can know they play against people using hacks. After playing for a while though, one starts to notice some crazy things like I shoot my enemy 3 times: first 75 points, second 125 points and third 155 points and at this point, my enemy should be dead but no, they are still alive and still able to shoot me. It's a little bit embarrassing since the maximum life points plus shield is 200 for everyone

If epic games doesn’t want to do THEIR job and provide good service to its consumers they need to figure out alternative ways to fix the problem. I don’t care if they shut down the game for 6 months straight. They need to fix this issue. I’m also tired of hearing only about hacking in tournaments. They are also in pubs rampantly destroying the experience for other players. I work in business and this is terrible business for the amount of money they could be making. The actual solution is serverside anticheat/cheat detection that autobans on obvious detections otherwise sends replay in for manual review but that takes skilled people and a lot of work to implement and will ultimately still be an endless battle.

When you get caught cheating first thing you do is you have to reinstall windows using a usb drive format all ur drivers after on a fresh install you run the spoofer then you can run the mac address changer but if your constanly cheating you can just use cleaners and spoof again but more high chance of getting banned again

IT is actually hurting me emotionally and somedays physically as I work countless hours building maps and livestreaming and editing videos. FOrtnite has been my life for several months, and I am torn bewtween just walking away from it all, or just sucking it up so I can just do what I love and try not to think about it. I am not allowed to make maps and advertise them as NO CHEATERS ALLOWED without making myself a target. I am considered part of the 2% because of my age range. I have been artist my whole life and finally went back to school to learn more about digital artwork creation, and thats what led me to Unreal Engine and then Epic and FOrtnite and finally a Creator. I love what I do, and I have learned at this age that the World is filled with people trying to steal from others. But, it just sucks so much when it feels like the thing you love is tainted. It is like someone is banging my wife in front of me while I just try not to let it bother me and keep working. At least, the very least, I could attack the guy hooking up with my wife.

I'm on PC which has no aim assist :(. I reported so many never once got this message from your video. I don't game ranks or tournaments cause the cheats as your video shows. What a video INCREDIBLE!!. I see so many default skins cheats than gamers with skins killing me. Mind boggling how these guys score 30+ kills on aim assist abuse ups downs away from sights never leading a target miss shots catching following like locked ON to kill YOU with every shot, and is accepted. How they make videos to get paid and some gaming on PC as you can see how they are gaming with desk arms spread apart on K&M killing like nothing software device driven, and is accepted by the community and FN. Makes you see they might be using something....and they don't care in my opinion to get them out with ANTI CRAP and lose money....... This is why I mainly do quest and sometime I beat the cheat too. I usually die half a second fully shield fully health from distance, cheater then disconnects. Seen a guy in ranks previously ZB display 2000+ crowns in front of me, and he was laughing too. So BROKEN Millions dollar game. Disney, marvel, DC investing on these??? Great video subscribed!!!
