To me , each of the flood theme symbolises a stage of the flood's development stage. Halo: ce 's is the feral stage because it makes me think of a pack of uncoordinated animals who share a common goal : the formation of a gravemind. It's also the most agressive since , at this point , the flood would attack anyone on sight. Halo 2 marks the beginning of the coordinated stage and the concretisation of the flood's true objective which is symbolized by an evil omen. Finally , Halo 3's flood theme is the interstellar stage and symbolise the level of danger that this specie represent for all lifeforms in the galaxy . Which is why it sounds the most horrifying .

From 0:00 to 5:50, I remember the first time I played this game. Halo 3 was the first halo game I had played, my uncle had got it for me and my brother for Christmas to go with our brand spanking new Xbox 360. Me and my brother were having a blast shooting up the covenant and we had just beaten The Storm, high fives all around. Then this “new contact” showed up. Me and my bro had no idea what the mission held. Then the flood appeared, and we were terrified. The screams of the marines even before we met them, the shapes leaping overhead, the sounds and designs of the flood- it all scared us. But we bravely went on, determined to stamp out this infestation. But when I met the traumatised marine, I quit. The line “I could see it crawling, sliming around under his skin” coupled with the absolutely stellar voice acting made me throw down my controller, run to my room, and I didn’t come out until the next day after many nightmares.

I did not have trauma or nightmares about the flood. But when I first saw the flood I said to myself "What is this?" So I decided to investigate and I already saw what it was, but when I got to the mission Cortana I felt horror at how high charity was and I I tried to get out of the ship but I couldn't and that's when I couldn't take it anymore and I passed the mission like a maze full of horror. The screams of the flood when I took a body I couldn't get out of my head. But when I got through the Halo mission, I knew that I would never go back to hear anything about the flood.

The chapter titles in this level are so ominous and unnerving, yet genius in portraying the story and description. Like the first one, "It followed me home..." When realising the flood has arrived on Earth, even though you've thought you've escaped it from the Halo ring, as if it were stalking you, or "Infinite Devil Machine", describing the Flood as horrific monsters which are seemingly endless and unrelenting, portraying its true threat to all living beings.

The usage of the Word devil is perfect for the moment you enter the crashed cruiser. Not only is it fitting by itself but I think its a reference to CE's flood theme, which describes the flood as Devils... Monsters.

I really wish for 343 to give us a level in Halo 6 with UNSC/Swords of Sanghelios forces pitted against the Covenant Remnants, the Prometheans and Warden Eternal and the Flood with some new forms to boot in a firefight. That would be so insane to see happen. We got to see UNSC vs Covenant vs Flood vs Sentinels in Halo 2 in Quarantine Zone back in the old days, now it would be a sight to behold.

the sentinels could be siding with whom depend on who is actually the faction with the reclaimers or the most if monitors are not involved in active command to hurt or kill humans, unless it is dealt on a more assertive level or the monitors are in command on random installations from their own. the sentinels served Spark in Halo 1. Tangant commanded the ones in Halo 2. the ark's monitor commanded in Halo 3. a forerunner "Librarian" commanded the ones in Halo 4. sentinels were not in Halo 5. the forerunners seemed to have made 2 plans. one where their enemy thought formidable would be the new holders of the mantle (most likely the librarian's work after she seen why the ancient humans purged the flood on forerunner planets) and then the plan of the didact and probably most other forerunners indoctrinated to believe they are the rightful mantle holders despite the precursor's wishes to behold humanity with that inheritance. there is a chance they are more likely to serve the created, however if the librarian's imprints were more assertive than previously believed or her Genesong was in an unintroduced Character much like the Iso-didact's/Born-Stellar's being in the Master chief. the ark can still play a role despite awakening the nightmare narrowing options of what is to occur by the communities' accumulative prediction and speculation. ability
