Yes, the interviewer was reasonable, but he fell into the same trap every interviewer falls into. His starting point was that Israel holds the responsibility for resolving the conflict. That is simply not true. By allowing the Palestinians to establish a mini-state in Gaza, Israel did what the international community demanded. The result was not a solution, but an escalation of the conflict. All people see is a David and Goliath scenario, but that is deluded. The solution is for Hamas to decide to allow Israel to be at peace with it. Israel cannot decide that; only Hamas can. And Hamas cannot do that, because its stated goal is the destruction of Israel. That is why this conflict can never be resolved.

He lied. Gaza isn't a state. He also said Hamas wants to kill all Jews. Then he read a statement whiche talked about killing a 'Jew behind a rock' . Hamas has revised their charter in 2017. The Lehi and Likud also have problematic charters. Hamas has agreed to the 67 borders. Israel hasn't.

But now the Arabs will get a football field and the Jews will get the rest. Palestine is Gaza. That's about all they will get. It might even shrink when they have this next ceasefire. Hamas will fail; shoot a couple rockets then Gaza will be invaded. Hamas is a terrorist organization, it has no political representation except from the ones that support terror. If it is true that Hamas will accept 67 borders than it is showing how weak they have become. After this rocket attack no one will put an Arab state any closer to Jerusalem. The WAQF better watch out because they are the only apartheid system in Israel and could face eviction for those crimes. Any foreign combatants will be brought to justice. Have a good future: choose peace!
