They also don't know that in the cold weather especially, the gas pedal needed a few good pumps before turning on the car. They don't even know what a carburetor is or how to put one together. If you never wore your hair where it stuck out 3 inches from your head, No. Bonus points if you ever got it to 5 inches tall on top. (The 80's & aqua net is why we have a hole in the ozone layer) 3. You must recognize Michael Jackson BEFORE he became a solo artist.( part of Jackson 5) 4. Know the catch phrase "Where's the beef' 5. Who was Mickey (not mouse) & why did our parents hate him. Class of 1988...our After Prom party was at a legit BAR! Paid for by our school!!! I kid you not.
@Ninjanimegamer3 ай бұрын
We had our prom at a hotel and yes we could drink at the bar. There was this one dude who pulled off all, and I mean all, the paintings off the walls and brought them to my room. He was drunk and was trying to impress me cause he knew I liked art. Hahaha. The after prom parties were scattered across that hotel. It was way fun. My friends and I had tried to put back those paintings in the early morning hours. We tried to match up the faded wallpaper to the size of each painting. That was a lot of work, and we had to use the stairs, because some of those were too big for the elevator. The kid who did this is sadly no longer here with us but his memory lingers on.

Oh the memories of the metal slide in the heat of summer! Not only that, but our metal slides were about 75 feet tall, our metal jungle gyms with the peeling paint that were essentially death traps, the 50 foot monkey bars, and the merry go round where you would pile all of the neighborhood kids to see who would go flyong off first...and all of this on a gravel playground! The good old days.

Gen x isn't the problem. It's the millennials that don't like being in the millennial group who are trying to sneak in under the guise of xennial, which is not a generational thing, but rather a social wannabe thing.

I quit drinking like 15 or so years ago but I still hate that I know if if you throw a jolly rancher into a Zima, it tastes better. Or maybe that was bitter? Also I'm baby Gen x and the product of a parochial school and I was thinking we didn't have a smoking section, literally we were told to smoke across the street. Wow! The more I think about it, the more surprised I am that I am still alive in my 40s.
