The "controversy" involved a story ian fidance told about blowing a kid in 1st grade. the entire show then became about this, so even if they cut out the comment it wouldn't work for air because every subsequent joke from that point on was about this comment. also he gave the full name of the victim in question lol

We were so adamant about creating Big Brother to “keep the country safe” we put all our private lives on social media, and would tattle on each other instantly. In fact we’d accuse people of things because we just didn’t like them and thought it would be funny to accuse people of crimes. Even though there was no evidence, our shitty culture says that everything is about our constant need for entertainment and attention. So now we’ve got what we have now. No one tells the truth, and we don’t even feel the need. We’ll lie in a second if we think it’ll be entertaining. We’ll lie/accuse people of things just because we don’t like them, or their not in their group. So be proud of the nation we’ve built. A shitty, narcissistic, ignorant, entitled land of consumers who just want to cause trouble, or just want their tribe in control. By any means necessary. If we didn’t want it this way, we’d change it. It’s like how we’re 100% fine with politicians lying because “Well X lied too so...” or “we’ll everyone lies so it’s fine”. We’re not able to have standards.

Earls central (of many), problems is his lack of intelligence. Whenever Earl is confronted with a potential problem or is asked to defend his opinion on something, he shuts down and goes into defensive fight or flight. Even when telling the truth is not incriminating in any way, he will attach himself to his perceived safety net answer to the death. What an interesting psychological specimen,. Although anyone who spent time and effort trying to analyze and treat him would inevitably go insane

Earl is truly one of a kind. He is incapable of multi-tasking and critical thinking. When given multiple tasks or put in the position to make an on-the-spot decision he shuts down. No decision is made, he forgets the second task he was assigned and proceeds like nothing happened. He quickly forgets about the incident. When asked what went wrong he instantly starts lying and blaming others. Amazing he made it this far in life. Purely benefiting from the inability of corporations like WNEW and SXM to fire people and charity jobs from Ron and The Hard Rock.
