It was a send up of Dickie Davies a well known sports broadcaster on Saturday afternoons in the 70s in Britain. He presented world of sport that had sports like wrestling and darts on, horse racing and football results, Benny actually looks really like his double on this sketch lol. The lady btw is one hot babe.

Thanks to The Benny Hill Show I got to experience one of the funniest and happiest memories of my life! One night me my brother, mom and uncle were watching a Benny Hill episode where actor Bob Todd was dressed up like a big mean looking Indian chief and when it came time for him to speak this little minnie mouse voice came out of his mouth and my dear beloved uncle Troy who had the funniest sounding laugh I've ever heard just absolutely lost it! He laughed at that scene so hard it started a chain reaction of laughter that quickly spread to my dear beloved mother then to me and my brother. It was a deep crying piss all over yourself laugh fest that didn't stop for literally 45 minutes! That's one happy memory I will take to my grave!

LOL, as American, I credit Benny Hill's spot on immitations in learning about MOST British personalities known only in the UK. He was so brilliant that it didn't matter if you didn't realize he was spoofing someone. And it was all the better when you did, I am sure!

I'm curious... does anybody know which year this particular episode has been created? I'm asking because I've seen one of the bicycle scenes (the one where benny loses the saddle and sits on the seat post) in Jackie Chan's 1983 Project A movie, and I was wondering who has copied who. Probably JC has copied BH cause he's done that many times in his movies, but I still wish to know :)
