Been a _huge_ Benny/Griselda fan for years, and always really liked Spesh but was more a casual fan of his & TRUST... but the last few years, Spesh (and Che Noir and Ransom) just climbs higher and higher on my list. His punchlines are _ridiculous!_ His pen game and flow and vocal is maybe the most underrated in the game... one of the best out, no doubt.

An MC that relies on Punching will always be attention grabbing but we can’t confuse that with always equating to top tier.. Spesh is nice no question but I don’t consider him a top tier lyricist.

He didn't fumble. He switched rhymes 🤷🏿‍♂️ 38 rapper off his phone as well. Thats why 38 let it be know that they literally wrote that on the way up to sway in the morning.

Love this album but the production wasnt there for me. I appreciate what they tried by sampling the beat from Thruway music 1 on Thruway music 2. The beats just aint there for me, they are not horrid but they arent good for this caliber of artists. Bars are top notch which makes the replay value. If yall dont review Che' new project i will be pissed. She has deserved a full review for her last 4 projects. Her and Rapsody on the first single went as hard as Benny and 38 did.

@OfficialEj1 I'm a fan of Them and Even Chup(I am huge Da Cloth fan) which he produces for all of their solo projects. StreetRunner is a legend. This wasnt all of their best efforts. It wasnt terrible beats just not on the level of #1. Eto beat on the Intro of the first one is better than this whole album.

Totally agree with rods critique of 38 spesh. I like his punchlines, beat selections, but does tend to always say the same things. Other coke rappers have much creative ways of talking about it (pusha t, stove god, even Benny)

38 punches harder than all those you named tho lol he can make 100 diff brick punchlines or keys like the recent charlamagne bar in Justin credible platform. “My dog had all the caine/ he use to give the Don a Key a day/ Like charlamagne” that bar is 10/10

I can't say I agree with this. I been listening to Spesh for many years and Push and Stove are way more redundant. His solo work has much more variety than the dudes you mentioned and I'll stand on that one.

I’m not denying 38 has some good lines and songs that I like but flow wise and subject matter wise he’s definitely more limited than Pusha t who’s clipse material sounds different to the more recent solo work. Or a stove god who can chop his flow, sing, etc. listen to stoves feature on Conway- Mutty and tell me that’s not more creative than anything 38 spit

No. No. No. 38 and Griselda are very similar, appeal to the same audience, and rap about a lot of the same things. They collab frequently. I don’t like him enough to listen to all his music, so I just add his songs that I do like with the Griselda songs I like. I do the same with Ransom and others. On a day I wanna hear that kinda rap, I can listen to them all In the same playlist. I’ll let people like you, who maybe a New Yorker, Idk, care about the geography of It all. Go ahead my guy, stake your claim and rep your town. I don’t care.
