Funny thing is, alot of vegan food goes crazy about having avacardo- avocado kills bees due to the way its produced, as does almonds and a bunch of other crops. Imma pescatarian due to personal reasons, but you have to be aware that production of food on a whole harms something one way or another- palm oil (which is in most food) is leading to the extinction of orangutans. And although you can go out your way to avoid certain food, youre just a droplet in a ocean of people..Imo there's bigger fish to fry (pun intended aheh) than killing farm animals that are bred to be eaten-- but ig she was more invested in the plentiful farm animals and the attention she can arouse.

I’m one of those people who isn’t vegan or vegetarian but also doesn’t eat meat daily - I’ll have a burger or pepperoni pizza like once a week at most. And when the vegan teacher is on my feed, that usually becomes a burger or pizza day out of pure spite. If she actually cared about reducing the amount of animals being slaughtered, she would advocate for people to reduce the amount of meat in their diet instead of villainizing anyone who isn’t 100% vegan. Also, I have domestic ducks (they naturally cannot fly bc they’re too heavy) that can’t be released into wild. I have all females, so none of their eggs are fertilized. My ducks have zero need for their eggs. Would people like the vegan teacher just throw them away?? Bc that would be incredibly wasteful. I personally don’t like eggs but occasionally scramble them for my dog and often give them out to friends and coworkers. It blows my mind that the vegan teacher would call this me “stealing their eggs” when if I didn’t harvest the eggs, they’d literally just sit out and rot, and attract predators - which is actually a safety hazard for the ducks.
