The consoles are sold on a loss, basically the consoles are sold for less then it costs to make them which means the company loses money when they are sold. The reason they do this is to get more people buying consoles which means more people buying the subscriptions. Basically, just a way for them to turn a quick buck.

Why you have to make it feel weird - the game pass core replaces the live gold and both have the same monthly fee. For someone who spent 10 dollars or euros for the live gold membership, that was a stupid move. The same applies for the psplus essential tier for monthly fee. Either you buy the lower tier on both services for 60 euros or dollars for annual plan ( 40 dollars or euros for discount price) either you go for a discount on the ultimate version on Xbox and for the psplus you choose among the tiers on annual plan.

Electric,💡 wifi/Internet bill, paid off console or payment plan, plus currently $204 USD yearly for ultimate depending on were ya live currency-wise, for online entertainment gaming with friends is a little much in my opinion and reasoning being do to the longevity of MMO games, I rather just by games out right. Personally think online gaming should be free, ran into a situation where I actually purchased a game just to test my theory, And due to the fact that the game was a MMO only which was not in the description at the time, Xbox said I need to pay for online access, And the whole issue I have with this is that we the consumers are giving our time and money and data Even to play on their platform, now don't get me wrong Xbox is amazing, however due to the direction that everything has gone this is allowed me to only invest mainly in offline games, especially split screen, now there are some games that you can play online completely free And I think that they should implement that with all their games especially if you purchased one, thanks for the video.
