the format for me in a sentence: "I thought I had a good deck." having a average WR of 62% I struggled a lot in this format. for me things changed the most when I started to draft as open as I could for as long as possible and committing to colors as late as possible. great content as always.

I hope to see some videos when phyrexia comes out. Do you like the set so far? I would love a video , where you explain what makes a set „good“ for limited and what set was very good and what set maybe not that good or not fun for you and why.

Hey. Never know what the future holds but I do plan to continue these on, it's not a brothers war thing. I like this format, except there are a few too many hard to answer broken rares like Titania and Gixs commands. If I start doing some other video content I'll def consider something like what you requested, what makes a format good etc. Thanks for the support, I really appreciate that people both enjoy and learn from the videos. at 56:05 they don't actually have a card in hand. The opponent's avatar, combined with Arena's way of displaying things, obstructs what's actually going on, but they only have the 'exile: scry 2' effect of the 1/1 first striker.

Hey Ben, would it be possible to upload your content in a 1080p quality? Sometimes you wanna zoom into the card texts which aren't possible to read on 720p - would be great if you increased quality for that reason - at least it would make me an even happier reliant viewer of your enjoyable uploads :-)

Remorse is good. I tend to think it's a little worse than excavation, it would be like my third choice but wasn't in the running bc since both it and excavation are a new color there wouldn't be much reason to take it over excavation.

It was def possible to get into blue white in this seat. Pick by pick it was hard and I think the red was a little better.

Ha finally cracked the code...7-2 with a simple mono-green/artifact beatdown deck. OK, I had Mightstone and Weakstone, but that's not exactly what I'd call a bomb rare, though it's high quality. Oddly enough, I didn't mana screw once.

Not a big fan, it's a serviceable trick but it doesn't help you attack through bigger creatures. I like it if you have cheap busted creatures too protect like the solider rares.

I've drafted ~120 times now and starting off a draft basically with no more chances for errors (losing 2/3 quickly), I ask myself how can I squeak out 'break even' for my wins yet its never more (my mental energy and outlook). You seem very neutral and calm about starting the draft with 2/3 losses and making the most of a poor start to the draft (statistically). I'm not seeing 100% of your drafts but I assume this is how you draft each time. Do you not feel emotions playing? Or how do you navigate from a losing position?

I get a little tilted if I play poorly. But the luck doesn't really bother me. When you play magic you sign up for the cards to come up in random orders. So getting mad at that has never really made sense to me.

How is x2 Thopter Mechanic (taking Lay Down Arms and Mishra's Command) not a blue signal with the type of deck you had, especially since you ended up running x2 Conscripted Infantry instead which is a significantly worse version of that card, to justify your Mishra's Command pick. Just needed more removal?

I waffled between all the 2nd colors, I like thopter mechanic but I think Mishra's command and I got the red cards later than blue cards so I'm not sure how I was supposed to end up blue.

Mishra's Command was p3p2, which I'd say is way too early in a pack to really qualify as a signal. Also keep in mind that Mishra's is not just 1-for-1 removal, the other modes provide extra value - which Ben commented on at least once during the matches. Lay Down Arms was p2p4, which I think is still maybe a bit too early, but perhaps more importantly, when I'm 99.9% to play White and don't know if I'll be playing Blue at all, Mechanic is not so much better than LDA that I'd want to speculate on Mechanic over taking something like LDA which I'm about 99.9% to play happily.

You always say you would prefer draft without rares and mythics but here me out. Rares and mythics make the games worse but they make the drafts better. They give you bigger decision points and reward staying open. They also challenge you to know when to greed for more colors since they pay you off so well for splashing. Just my thoughts on it.
