the art of listening to a whole "album" has been lost in the past decades, due to people buying songs as singles. artists many times have a rhyme or reason (or used to) to putting songs in a particular order. I really don't know if artists do this anymore. It would be interesting to know. I remember my son asking me why I would buy a CD/digital album when I could just buy some songs that I liked. I told him that many times the songs that are released on the radio are not what would be my favorites, as proven through the years, and because if you like one song really well, you will probably like others.
