My all time favorite fighter, I was a kid when I first discovered this sport and benson was my introduction. I went into taekwondo and wrestling as a kid because of this man. I’m so grateful to this man for the inspiration to just be consistent and be better in all aspects of life everyday. I’ll never forget how captivated I was in 2012 and beyond. Thank you so much Benson “Smooth” Henderson. My kids will know you.

Usman is tricky, he strikes like valentina shevy, kicks like rockhold and wonderboy but also can wrestle like khabib and has good jiu jitsu, aaaaand on top of that, he is only 24

Benson should not only be in the UFC Hall of Fame, he should also be awarded a "Golden Calf" trophy and acknowledged for adding a truly debilitating devastating kick to the game! That one kick has literally changed the entire sport. If you don't believe that to be true, ask Anderson Silva and Conor McGregor if they agree with that statement. Benson is indeed a true legend of the sport. Much love for all you've accomplished in this crazy game! May your retirement be just as cool and smooth as your fighting style.

When Benson was still in the WEC I was telling people he had the skills to beat Penn and be the UFC lightweight champion. Most said "No way." And though it wasn't Penn it was Frankie. That said, I remain shocked that Henderson, facing lesser competition, was never able to win a belt in Bellator.

Besides Kayla Harrison, nobody from Ali's team or his fighters has anything to do with Ariel anymore. It's a long story where Ariel spoke against Frankie getting a title shot against Max, then other cases where he investigated and made it seem like future title challengers had something against Dana and the UFC and etc. Not to mention that he makes them say too many things in a tricky way that can be used against them or come out in a negative way by mentioning different topics that again stirr controversial stuff...
