In this video we unbox and check out the Can Am X3 Front Glass Windshield with Wiper/Washer Kit from Bent Metal. This is a great kit and installs in about 2 hours (most of it is time consuming to run wiring and route them correctly).

I'll be mounting washer bottle this weekend... Did the windshield and wiper last weekend and I must say it was pretty easy and looks really good.. Great Video

@@teamfaswelcome.... I just wish I would had 2 open spots for rocker switches so could keep my wiper/washer switches together but I guess I'll live lol

@@davids5006 you can move another one if you have enough slack in something else’s wiring harness

@@davids5006 no, we did not need to trim them at all

Along frame rail and zip ties. Just keep them clear of anything they can snag or get pulled on or moving parts.

you didn’t have any error code with the ss by switching the shocks form a side to another ?

No, not at all. Machine has not triggered anything or had any issues.

Wonder if he knows the wiper arm can extend out so it does not hit the windshield rubber molding

I didn’t at first but we did find that out and fixed it, thank you

So from what I’m seeing, even if you already did the shock flip, you still have to take the shocks off?

@@40ozdon no you do not but you do need to remove the bolts to get mount into place

Thanks for watching, it’s actually pretty good for the size of the vents. When opened it breaks the vacuum and helps air swirl in cab. Cheers!

Does the plastic need trimmed so the reservoirs dont hit after the shocks are flipped?

We didn’t need to on this no

Not yet, this customer has not brought it back in yet for the next round of installs and upgrades. When he does that will be on the list. We will do a small video on what we use and how it was done.

Ok, dumb question... Why flip the shocks?

No dumb questions here man. You flip them for clearance due to the angle on the reservoir mount connected to the shock body.
