@@ToMinkk wasn't Nidaime's woman pregnant when she was sent away? Benten is half human and half tengu and is the spitting image of that woman. Her mother is long dead, but she ages slower than humans, and it fits that his granpa, after his son rejected the tengu worldview, went back to his grand daughter for heir.

Their interactions were pure catharsis as somebody who never liked Benten. She has an amazing character design, but she's... well, a jerk, to put it in light terms. This series has such a strange air to it, though.
