Charlie Sanchez That's actually a great question. Because at the end of the day, it's still a job. Try googling what happened to Karen Mulder then you will get the idea. But it's not always like that tho.

There are a couple of FB groups in which you can find modeling jobs that are also suitable for beginners. If you start doing advertisements it won't be for very big brands. Often it is a small company that wants you to smile all the time. For example, promoting their new weight loss exercises equipment, a household cleaning item, a vegan toothpaste.... For people who are not at least 175cm (5,5ft) tall, video advertisement work is a great thing to look for. If you have decent acting skills, it is anyways more fun than print ads. I have only been once employed by a modeling agency and they got me one single job in an entire year - very disappointing. I found all the other jobs via fb groups (including a big job modeling for a Google =) I actually made a youtube video on that topic. It also points out the problem of sexual harassment, which pretty much every single model experiences. Another word of caution: When I started modeling, I actually become a lot more self-aware of many of my imperfections even though I am a very confident and generally satisfied person. @@sincerelyjanea6874 i’ve been doing a lot of research about modeling, but please take my advices lightly since i’m no where near professional and it might not work for everyone else- when you first apply for modeling, try to apply for as much modeling as you can, ALWAYS research before signing contracts or even just making decisions, you can never know too much about a company so it’ll always be safer to research about them THEN apply or sign- as for applying to small or big companies, if you did enough research about the ones you’ve wanted to sign with, feel free to apply for all of them! (this is for applying to companies not signing for contracts) when it comes to signing, it will be great to talk to the people there thoroughly and discuss about all the things that comes with signing, i believe when you first starts with modeling, you’ll have a mother agent which is basically the “main agent” that will help you with taking on works and signing with other agents- that’s all that i’m really sure about, there’re a lot of youtubers that gives out great advices and recommendations so yea!
