MicroStation CONNECT Edition 2D Basics: 01 - Creating a New File, Intro to UI and Saving Your Work

In this 2D training video series we'll be covering the very basics of MicroStation CONNECT Edition operations. We start in this video with launching the software, how to create a file using seed files, a quick tour of the user interface and workflow and how to save your work (or whether you actually need to!) plus other general beginner topics.

We need such videos which describe the basic features which is require for the first-time users, which make them comfort to use it and brings confident to migrate to MicroStation from other product. Please keep on doing such videos which are helpful, since it gives very basic information of all tools with hand on practice. It would be better if you attach same data set for practice for the users. Please do such videos for other products like open roads. I really appreciated. Thank You

And what do you do if you have no ribbon at the top? To many Microstation tutorials start with a ribbon or dialog box open and no instruction as to how to get them.

How do I increase the number of recently viewed files from the file menu in Microstation? I can only currently see the last five files but I’ve seen that you can see as many as ten.

HI! I'm opening MicroStation for the first time but I don't have a "BentleyCONNECTTraining" option in my workspace drop down. Can some one please help me out ?

Hi Sam, I there a way to populate a table with the Microstation components for an intersection design like a roundabout,. We ended up list each one individually and manually populating a table. Please advise.
