Coler is just incredible. As a NWA local, I end up going to Coler more than the rest of the trail systems. The trails are fun and perfectly built for all skill levels. Airship makes great coffee and food (try the kombucha) and the paved trail is great for my non-MTB family. Can't beat it!

So thankful for these Bentonville videos (new and old) you've done. Driving out there on Saturday and now have a solid list of trails to ride. Our place is right by the Little Sugar trail head and our day one ride will be the one you and Sarah did last year. 6 days to ride and will definitely get at least one day at both Coler and Slaughter Pen. I hope my kids and my legs can hold up to it all. Thankfully, coming from Colorado, we have a 5000ft altitude advantage (at least for the first few days). 😁 🍻

It’s awesome seeing money go to an outdoor recreation activity a lot of people enjoy in your home state. I go to the university and now they are building trails right on campus and it’s creating an identity for the state. And you can’t complain when Arkansas sports are killing it as well. Good time to be a student. Great time to be a Razorback. Go hogs.

Brand new derailleur hangers often aren't straight out of the box. Especially so once installed on the frame itself which can have some inconsistencies. Always best to install a new hanger and then check it with a tool.

We have an unbelievable number of CA transplants here. So many of them sell their smaller homes in CA, and come buy homes 2-3 times as big here, and still have money left over. That's changing a little with the cost of real estate going up, but if you're looking on the perimeter and not "downtown" the home prices are still very reasonable. Employment is also fairly easy to obtain, so it's crazy how much it has blown up just in the last 3 years. At last check, almost 30 people move to this Northwest Arkansas corner of the state weekly. It's crazy.

Brian when using the derailleur alignment tool, always use the same reference point on the wheel to properly align it. For instance I always use the valve for my reference. I start at the top, measure it, then spin the valve to the bottom, then the valve facing the back of the wheel, then spin it to the front of the wheel. The measurement should be either the same or extremely close. If you want a video of me demonstrating it, let me know I will email you one.

Had the pleasure of visiting Bentonville this year during bikefest weekend, but the climate was just too brutal on me, coming from the west coast of Santa Cruz where we have pretty perfect weather and even when it gets warm, the humidity rarely even goes over 60%. I'm glad we decided to rent eBikes while we were there because we only got one day of riding before the Tornado came, but it was an 8 hour day of riding and we were able to cover a lot of ground. If I had tried to ride that many hours in on a traditional bike, I would have been throwing up 2 hours in...

Hey I don't know how these videos got recommended to me but they popped up and I'm really entertained. I just have a one recommendation: as someone who doesn't bike, it's hard for me to really have a sense of how fast you're going, and if you could attach a speedometer to your bike so we see how fast you're actually going, I think people like me would be even more impressed. Great videos tho!

Well Brian, have to say, real surprised to hear what you said about the derailleur hanger alignment tool and not being able to figure out how to properly use it with all the other stuff you've managed to learn/figure out with Everstoke and your van. It's damn simple, just watch the Park Tool video on how to use it and you'll come to realise that it's one of the most important tools you have. Little FYI, just because a derailleur hanger is new, doesn't mean it's straight, I always check new hangers and most of the time they're good, but over 20% they're not.
