You don’t mention you sealed the pigeon ! That’s fine but I suppose you can’t mention that in a video . Would be better to work on carrying before if that tiercel ends up with a dove or meadowlark it might take you awhile to get him back ! Only suggestion with 64 years experience. Sometimes better to have the basics down before flying quarry . Also I prefer training birds very early in the morning so they learn to power up without relying on thermals to gain altitude. Training young birds on homers is a good way to lose a bird in a long tail chase . Commons are slower with less stamina and somewhat easier to catch . I guess I’m old fashioned .but an experienced falconer doesn’t rely on artificial methods to train a falcon .. kites and balloons . Patience and proper technique is what makes a true falconer and game hawker .. Gimmicks are for amateurs .. Sorry only my opinion

Fantastic results for a first try! She looked like a real "pro"! Kind of tough on the pigeon... BTW, is the neck/spine severing an instinct, did she kill/disable the pigeon that way... such huge steps for a bird that hasn't been parent trained!

No, she did not kill via the neck. She tried to break in through the wing unfortunately. she hasn't got the neck thing down.

are you referring to pursuit after the stoop, or off the fist pursuit flights? JDAM (my peregrine) won't be doing off the fist pursuits, only waiting on flights, but I know Ben has done some pursuit off the fist flights in the past.
