Thanks for the review Colby. I’ve seen a few people promoting this version on the Bible pages. From what you said, I get the impression that this is more of a word for word translation. Is that true or is it more in the thought for thought category?

The BSB bible translation reads like the HCSB and is accurate like the NKJV translation. The BSB sits in between those two translations mentioned. I have read the whole Bible, so I can tell you that it is one of the best translations out there. It doesn't have "brothers and sisters," but rather, "brothers." It keeps words like "O," "Behold" "Unto" etc. Excellent translation. One of the best.

I have the soft cover tan & I LOVE it. It's so soft & floppy. The print is large enough for my bad eyes. And it's fairly easy to read.
