I'm also a twin, so when Pastor Jerry started talking about how you may have been a surprise to your parents, but you aren't to God, I immediately thought about that...I feel a lot of times that people combine my identity with my twin and not as an individual...it is reassuring to know that God created me and my twin for a specific purpose! And God did the same for you and your twin! God knew that he needed both of you! I hope all is well! :D

The past 2weeks I've been asking God what my purpose is. At one point I thought I knew but I just been through Soo much hurt and pain I felt like it was beat out of me. But when I saw this video I Knew. I knew God was answering me and guiding me back to my spiritual map. Thank you guys at REDIFINED sooo much for being obedient to God. Sometimes when we are at that place of frustration God wants us to rest in him love. The first thing God mention in 1 Corinthians about love.. is patience. God is pruning and shaping you in the area of patience, your purpose requires it. Sometimes God want us to trust his hand in our life even when we cant see a thing. But best believe he is moving and orchestrating things on your behalf. Continue to build that close relationship and fall Inlove like never before. Praying that God brings clarity to you concerning your purpose. Stay strong sis!

i just want to say that I am so grateful that God gave yall this platform! This message was super encouraging to me. I went into my freshman year as a pre-med student too, but I just felt as though I was not going to be living out my God-given purpose while being a neurologist. Two years later, and now I have switched my major to psychology. Please pray for me that God will reveal to me what I am supposed to be doing with my life. I am feeling as though God is leading me to ministry, but I do not know what that entails.

I have been racking my brain trying to figure out where I recognize this Pastor from. I WAS AT THAT YOUTH INSTITUTE IN MARYLAND WITH HIM!!! LOLOL I've been feeling crazy all week because I swore he looked familiar. My home church From the Heart Church Ministries puts on a youth institute every summer and I have been to several of them. I'm not sure I went to the one in 2006 but I think I saw Pastor Jerry at a previous one. The crazy part about this whole thing is that my friend from South Africa who now lives in Michigan near me sent me a clip of his preaching that answered the exact question I was praying about the night before. Who would've thought that I would actually have a personal experience with him!! The world is small and God is good. So great to see him deciding to live out his purpose at such a young age.

I just noticed this was posted on my 30th birthday. It’s no coincidence how the importance of our birthday is connected to our purpose. It’s now April and I’m so glad I’m finally understand the feeling I’ve had for so long. I’ve been so frustrated, for years and I couldn’t figure out why. Thank you refined TV for shining a light on this. For so long I’ve been wasting my gift, looking for fulfilment in all the wrong places. I knew I was always drawn to shepherding and teaching others, and I teetered around it for years. Now that I'm a coach, I get so much joy seeing the women I coach create purpose driven businesses. When God first called me to be a business coach the negative thoughts started to swarm. But once I took that leap of faith, it all came together why people were always drawn to me and why I was always drawn to teach. The purpose of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We glorify God by fearing and obeying Him, keeping our eyes on our future home in heaven, and knowing Him intimately. Many people suffer from anxiety and depression because they think they are failing in life because they can't find their purpose. The Bible is very clear about why God created us. We don't have to discover our purpose. But of course in order to navigate this world, we need to have and chase goals. A goal and a purpose are 2 different things.
