We stayed at Berg-en-Dal on our recent visit to KNP. The camp itself is very clean and tidy. The chalets are dated but clean and functional. The receptions staff and "KO", who did our morning game drive, are amazing. Sadly the staff in the shop and restaurant are absolutely hopeless and not in the least bit interested. The food in the restaurant is basic but ok, but sadly very little choice for vegetarians. The game driving around the rest camp is amazing though

Hi Sheridan Thank you for your comment and feedback. I agree SANParks can make more of an effort with the restaurants but in the end the game viewing is absolutely magical. 🤩

Thanks for the video, much appreciated. I just bought myself a camping trailer and want to book a trip next year and visit Berg en Dal and Crocodile Bridge. (I am a novice with trailer so thought this is the easiest from PTA) My question is, is the S25 from Berg en Dal to Crocodile Bridge OK to drive with a trailer? I have heard stories that driving on gravel roads is not allowed when towing. Thanks!

Hi Gerhard Welcome to the camping life :) You can most definitely drive the S25 road with a trailer. It is only certain 4x4 routes that you are not allowed to tow on but the S25 is not one of them.
