If you do even a modest amount of research on Bergantino gear, you inevitably find people referring to the "revealing" or "honest" nature of it. And Gregor is 100% correct when he says that amps of this quality can reveal your technical shortcomings (5:02). A/B the rig in this demo with almost any widely distributed gear and you'd probably agree! For some, this might be really intimidating or off-putting. And it is probably true that players with more refined technique would get on easier with it, at least at first. It's like using a high-resolution camera, capturing more 'information' from your bass. But you could always compensate with the amp's outstanding EQ control, if needed. For me, in 25+ years of playing bass, it's the best sounding gear I've ever used

I like it. this is exactly the kind of amp I want. So many times you can't just use a di to foh, , and if you can, you might still need stage volume, etc. I can add my own color as needed per situation. Very good.

@mikeyaffe74983 жыл бұрын
Better is subjective... player, subjective, less gear, subjective. Juan Alderete has 300 pedals, and I wouldn't call him worse for it. His music is more aggressive in every way and he specializes in synthy sounds. That said, not even that makes him better, it just defines his sound with more meaning. He's a gear head so he would probably like everything from Behringer on up. His tone is definitely in his hands. Better is such a weird word.

Nah only practise makes you a better bass player 🤣

Frank would sound a lot better than the Dead sounding Basses he played. If he played or brought up the Midrange and Treble. Very Bland Sounding. Not a Good Sound.

Been playing bass 25 years. Never used a drive, never seen any bassist use a drive. Every amp and preamp these days has a drive. Why. It’s not a guitar you don’t need distortion. Or overdrive. These new small amps are just class d car amplifiers with 1/4” inputs and a preamp

@basstheworldofficial3 жыл бұрын
did you watch the video? I did what I'm always doing and all our videos are sponsored. BassTheWorld is a business
@daviddesmond21433 жыл бұрын
Bass the World does a great job demoing gear and other items of bass interests and I doubt they get rich doing this. There is nothing wrong with them posting "clickbait" to earn a little $ to pay expenses and keep going. They are certainly dedicated and put out excellent pro level videos. If any item has a flaw, clickbait or not, they will tell us.
@cabbycabby17703 жыл бұрын
The title is just a little fun. They clearly explain in the review why they titled it that way. Also, do you think they produce all of these videos and have all of this gear because they are a rag-tag team of independently wealthy bass hobbyists? They are running a business and always have disclaimers about sponsored content.
