I want to pick up a Bergara BMR with the carbon wrapped barrel but don't know if I should go with the 17HMR or the 22LR....leaning towards the HMR!

I would recommend 22lr for plinking ammo is a lot cheaper and a bigger variety of ammo available

Would you buy the bergara over the cz American. I’m wanting a new 22 for squirrel hunting mostly also what scope is own your 457?

My 457 has a 4x18x50 nikon black x1000 scope and it is my go to squirrel rifle

Everyone with an iPhone is a reviewer. Nothing against CCI but if I want to test accuracy, I don’t buy the cheapest ammo I can find and shoot it 25y. 50y minimum and 100y for final testing.

Stretch that thing out there to 100yds with some good target ammo. That would really tell you more about the gun if its worth it or not. I`ve got a couple CZ457`s. I just never bought into the bergara hype. Especially after seeing ejection issues and hard cycling bolts with these 22 rimfire bergara`s.
