Great video with useful basic tips explained well. I am going skiing in 3 weeks after a considerable time lapse since my last ski, so this video has helped a lot and I feel more confident.❄️🎿⛷

Hello there! I do not thin that jumping in to the wedge will be an appropriate exercise. I think will be more reasonable to slide in to the wedge. Second the skier on this level can barely stand above the ski. I think that will be a better idea to concentrate on the feet movement. Sincerely Leonid

//skier on this level can barely stand above the ski. => Well said, so true! Making the wedge wasn't enough to stop me. Thin frame with more upper body weight may have to tilt the blade more for added friction/resistance?!

Omg. I've not been on the slopes for 35 years. Even that snow plow looks like a hip and knee killer. I'm going to need a hot tub and some prescription drugs. Once I worked the moguls, now I'll rock the bunny slopes.

It is almost never a good idea to tell students to add weight to a foot or manipulate it as they will do what comes natural and that is always wrong. Pushing, twisting and steering are not used in skiing today except in the bumps. It is much better to tell them to get off of a foot. By focusing on that foot, they won't be tempted to move or manipulate the weighted foot.
