ETFs are tradeable, where you can take advantage of intra-day price fluctuations (to time the market and buy at real-time prices). Mutual Funds are not tradeable. When you buy a MF, units will be allotted based on the closing day prices of the underlying stocks. To buy ETFs, therefore you will need a Demat account. Demat account not needed for MF.

1. Nippon is multinational - so better governance 2. They have invested more money than others due to being in the field for longer duration 3. There are other ETFs like Tata which are also reliable but started much later so their AMC would lesser

ETF works same like stocks you need a buyer and seller to trade the units. Nippon bees are the most liquid etf. Other etfa has less liquidity, and you might not be able to sell the units when you need to do. I am investing in mutual funds to avoid this liquidity issues.

It’s because p/e of ITC is the lowest among other fmcg stocks. Besides there are 5 or 6 companies under the scrip ITC like ITc hotel, a IT company, packaging company, Mangaldeep, papermate to name some. Therefore in long term it will be a good investment. Hotel biz is getting demerged already.
