This is so painful... so sad. I can understand what you say. I am Catholic and I would never marry a non-Catholic man. Our Faith is our life... It is our soul, mind and flesh. But the secularized world made too many people forget it. For the ones who are already in a mixed marriage in this moment the most important thing is to find the personal roots of one's People... And, after that, you'll bring all the richness of your Faith to the people around. So please be serene and pride. I can't be Jewish, because I am sure that G-d is one unique substance in the Trinity reality, but, if I could choose, it would have been very good for me to be born as a "Jewish-Catholic". Please be careful about which old testament you are reading. My unsolicited advice is that you go to a judaica store and buy by ARTSCROLL in one volume "the tanach, prophets, writings, megilot" it has Hebrew on one side with English translation on the other. It's a thick volume. BUY WITHOUT the commentary. It's not necessary unless you are interested.
