Parents: This song puts our baby to sleep so fast! It’s like a baby Xanax. Incredible! On Shabbat we sing it to him and it also works. I’m sure the kedusha (holiness) of the beautiful words is also impacting his little Neshama’le (soul). So, instead of nonsense like twinkle twinkle little star or Baby Shark, give this a try and if Beri Weber makes money from the thousands of times we’ve played this so so far, all the better! Shana Tova to everyone!

BH' G_D is the source of ALL BLESSINGS. Sad most people choose to be like Sodom and Gemorah, and do what is right in their own heart as opposed to turning to HIS ways for us, which are the Mitzvahs designed to help us.
@royeby36402 жыл бұрын
G_D is to be Worshiped. QUESTION: Do you know... Why Jesus Is Not The Jewish Messiah Christian missionaries, like Jews for Jesus, profess that Jesus is the Jewish messiah. Why has Judaism rejected this claim for 2,000 years? The concept of the Messiah has its foundation in our Jewish Bible, the Tanach, which teaches that all of the following criteria must be fulfilled before any person can be acknowledged as the Messiah: The Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a Descendant of King David AND King Solomon The Messiah must be a member of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:10) and a direct descendant of King David & King Solomon (2 Samuel 7:12-14; 1 Chronicles 22:9-10). Genealogy in the Bible is only passed down from father to son (Numbers 1:1-18). There is no evidence that Jesus really had this pedigree, and the Christian Bible actually claims that he did not have a “birth-father” from the tribe of Judah descending from King David and King Solomon (Matt. 1:18-20). Ingathering of the Jewish Exiles When the Messiah is reigning as King of Israel, the Jews will be ingathered from their exile and will return to Israel, their homeland (Deut. 30:3; Isaiah 11:11-12; Jeremiah 30:3, 32:37; Ezekiel 11:17, 36:24). This has clearly not yet happened and we still await its fulfillment. Rebuilding of the Holy Temple The Temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt (Isaiah 2:2-3, 56:6-7, 60:7, 66:20; Ezekiel 37:26-27; Malachi 3:4; Zech. 14:20-21). The Temple was still standing in Jesus’ day. It was destroyed 38 years after Jesus’ crucifixion and it has not yet been rebuilt. Worldwide Reign of Peace There will be universal disarmament and worldwide peace with a complete end to war (Micah 4:1-4; Hoseah 2:20; Isaiah 2:1-4, 60:18). Wars have increased dramatically in the world since the start of Christianity. Observance of the Torah Embraced by All Jews The Messiah will reign as King at a time when all the Jewish people will observe G-d’s commandments (Ezekiel 37:24; Deut. 30:8,10; Jeremiah 31:32; Ezekiel 11:19-20, 36:26-27). Above from: Jews for Judaism website. Please, look at their free videos. Shalom

Maa Kuu, Do you believe G_D is all powerful? HE is. Do you believe G_D is all knowing? HE is. Do you think G_D knows people will sin? YES We read Deuteronomy chapter 30, knowing we that are searching for a stronger relationship can be closer to HIM, through HIS ways, which are Mitzvahs. But, what about that person and this person, and what they are going through? Please, Please, read a book, written by Orthodox Jewish Rabbi Aryeh Kaplan, "The Aryeh Kaplan Anthology I" This Rabbi, did not always follow TORAH. He was a genius in science, which brought him to question everything, bring him to Judaism and becoming a Rabbi that produced books to help people understand our purpose in life. BH' Shalom

I come back to this haunting tune every so often...for those who don't understand Hebrew, the words are from Jewish prayers, Master of the (entire) universe, (physical and spiritual) it is not due to our righteousness that we beseech, but on account of your great mercy...this doesn't mean that we don't do anything good- of course we do, nor that G-d doesn't allow things to happen that certainly don't look good...nevertheless we believe that G-d is the source of good, and has a Divine plan, and that our longing and beseeching along with trying to lead our lives according to G-d's instructions will hasten the time of true and complete Redemption

The spirit and emotion captured within the language is truly, deeply, universal. It transcends interpretation - no, it exceeds interpretation. It just .. is. It stands alone, understood at the very level of heart and spirit - where it is not necessary to speak the language of the lyrics, because the very essence of the song carries itself upon the wind. Shhhh, be very quiet and listen. It is there. It is all entirely there. Thank you , Beri!

This is so painful... so sad. I can understand what you say. I am Catholic and I would never marry a non-Catholic man. Our Faith is our life... It is our soul, mind and flesh. But the secularized world made too many people forget it. For the ones who are already in a mixed marriage in this moment the most important thing is to find the personal roots of one's People... And, after that, you'll bring all the richness of your Faith to the people around. So please be serene and pride. I can't be Jewish, because I am sure that G-d is one unique substance in the Trinity reality, but, if I could choose, it would have been very good for me to be born as a "Jewish-Catholic". G-d has a plan Love and Mercy for everyone. It does not matter our age, we have to answer at His call. Keep on study the Torah, the Mishnah, and the Lashon haKodesh. Shalom. Beri is great, great ! (some years ago, when I began to learn Hebrew, I often listened to his songs and... I "inherited" Beri's accent 😇😊😄).

My unsolicited advice is that you go to a judaica store and buy by ARTSCROLL in one volume "the tanach, prophets, writings, megilot" it has Hebrew on one side with English translation on the other. It's a thick volume. BUY WITHOUT the commentary. It's not necessary unless you are interested.
