Not a bad comp in terms of style...I've used it myself. Catton could become better than him, however. Clayton Keller might be better or Logan Cooley.

Drouin is a passing first player and catton is a shooter first. I don't see how they look similar except they are both skilled players.

He's very little like Drouin. Drouin is a perimeter player. Catton is ALWAYS wanting to dance into the slot or net-front with his speed, sick hands and excellent cuts. Plus, Catton has an elite release. Drouin is almost exclusively a pass-first guy. Also, Catton blows him away in hockey sense and overall compete. IMO. He raises his game to meet adversity. Drouin folds like a cheap, Canadian Tire tent.

He kind of reminds me of Kuznetsov with his stick handling and his strides, peak Kuznetsov was close to winning himself a Conn Smythe and was one of the most fun Centers in the entire NHL

I was hopeful that the Flames would finish low enough to pick this guy in the draft. But we won a few too many meaningless games late and played our way out of some of the drafts best talent. Most Flames fans think he's "too small" but when he is lighting it up in the NHL I hope those same fans remember their opinions on a 5'11" player (two inches shorter than league average)

Catton, Lindstrom, or Iginla are all good players. One of them will come to CGY. I hope Lindstrom, but any other is good. And I wish we got the 10th pick overal for Helenius.

im really interested as a sharks fan if we drop to 3 in the lottery. Demidov may not be the right guy for the sharks, so out of the remaining forward prospects, he's as good of a bet as any to become a top line player.

Yet he sucked in the playoffs, because he's small and can't get through traffic with bigger teams like the Cougars. Iginla is going to be the better prospect, it won't even be close. Not a single goal, and 2 of his assists were secondary, he wasn't even noticable. I had to see if he was really playing.

Catton still could become a top center as Iginla is probably going to be a 60ish points second liner, which is attractive to many
