Most soldiers went to support Britain as British Raj troops so when the alliance destroyed the UK both troops died and this left a gap in the peninsula as without the ships no naval defence and with no spare troops the subcontinent was open.

Which is funny because in reality taking India or China alone would be a colossal albatross around the neck, the sheer amount of manpower you'd need to garrison that during the war... Although I guess Britain managed it with only a few thousand functionaries in India.

This actually happened to me in a run playing as Britian. I started the war in 38 and stormed Germany the moment they declared on Belgium. By the time I got to Berlin, all my territory was lost because France fell to the Italians. The fucking italians.

Yeah both Germany and the USSR were definitely buffed in this. I watch in practically every HOIV game I play the Soviet lose to China and Japan, while Germany just cant take on that massive a front alone, even with Soviet help, which they have it worse.

Honestly, at that time its not really that far off from reality. The only real threats at the time are britian japan and china and maybe italy. The rest either barely have an army or have an army that is still using ww1 tactics and before. Pure force the world would win, but in reality, its not how war works

I don't even know how this is possible. The rest of the world has more manpower, a larger industry, more resources, more divisions, bigger airforce, bigger navy, a technological advantage (USA, UK to a lesser extent), more spies (if ai makes an agency), and yet they somehow lose. The ai of this game never ceases to amaze me with it's retardation.
