3:40 and following: amazing roads 10:12 I LOVE it! 2700 km in the winter in 9 days, mostly not on highways: you can definitely be PROUD of it! I wish you the problem was the fuel, but I personally doubt it.... Enjoy the relax in Porto now!

Should get yourself a heated vest. I bought one from ororo for working on flight line buikding commercial jet airplanes during the winter. It lasts 8 hours. I use it while riding now too. What a difference it made. Warmth on those cold days is truly a game changer.

Linke Hand zum Gruß - left-handed greeting ;-) A hint on your fuel issues - from my diverse Honda XL... days in the past one trick has always remained - keeping some denatured alcohol handy (Brennspiritus im Flachmann - DON'T DRINK!) - about one or two shot glasses per litre of fuel helps bind any water in the tank and carb (which is the actual cause - water droplets block the carburetor jets/nozzles!). Water in the fuel is quite normal - comes from condensation under the fuel cap, but also cheap fuel (has fewer detergents) and lesser frequented fuel stations can also have water in their tanks. BTW small amounts of alcohol can help with low octane fuel if engine knock is an issue in dry heat - alcohol will raise the octane and burn a bit cooler ;-)

What a beautiful ride and a lovely rendezvous with your lady friend too. The stuttering and cutting out from bad E10 fuel looks similar to problems with the electrical system, like a bad ground wire or worn out battery or damaged ignition coil. It's hard to find the actual cause without tearing down the bike.

Yes. This is electrical. You have driving wet, moist weather condition with an old lady.. With age, seal and connection to your rectifier will dry out in 30years 😉 you need to inspect these. You are using the bike as it should be used, but.. With age she need extra care. Buy rubber vulc tape.. Important to make old connection waterproof again. Some you just need to replace due to corrosion. Buy a sixpack of beers, sit down and put some love to your old honda lady, respect taking here out on these long trips 🙏😍

@@MarcTravels I had a problem with a cracked ignition coil and faulty oxygen sensor causing rough running and engine stalls in heavy rain. Your bike has a carb so there's only the coil to worry about.
