San Giorgio Church, Venice, Italy. As part of Venice biannual, this is the most impressive site specific art installation have ever experienced. It is not about politics or religions, but it invokes the question of our vulnerability, fragility and our need of refuge and caring during searching for transformation, transcendence and reconciliation in face of Motility .

It's hard to determine whether the artist's intentions were to mock, insult or desecrate a sacred space. Even harder to determine what on earth the priest or bishop who gave this modern "art" monstrosity the green light was thinking. Either way, they are both lucky that Catholics will no longer fight to defend their faith and Churches, unlike some other religions who go absolutely berserk at the slightest taunt.

A bloodied and crucified man with thorns for a crown is more a monstrosity imo.
